A local amusement park called Dong Xanh , a short bus drive away from Thien An , has been visited by our kids.
The only real attraction was a carousel, which had to be pushed by myself and the Belgian baker Jose, but the kids enjoyed it anyway because of the beautiful landscaping and curiosities like sculptures representing the minority cultures. Also a procession of Jai Rai ‘warriors’ and some kind of a medicine Man disguised like a tree was highly appreciated.
The waterslide was dry but that did not prevent the kids to climb on it and lapse down on and on again.The cookies and muffins made by Jose were munched during the several picnics.
