Fish pond at Thien An
A fish pond is being created on the land of the nuns very near our orphanage Thien An in Pleiku. 2 ponds of about 500m3 total have been built already in a former paddy field, very near a stream. We are waiting for advice from the company De Heus, an international Dutch company specialized in animal and fish food to complete the project. De Heus will advice us on the type of fish, fish food, the water regulation, pump system etc.
A part of the funds comes from a group of cyclists from Saigon, called H2H, who has been cycling from Hanoi to HCMC to raise money for different charities. The total project costs are about 10.000 USD.
