Fair at Thien An

Fair at Thien An

Just before the start of the Vietnamese New Year the nuns have organized a fair for the kids of Thien An and their parents. Resourceful as they are, they set up with only a few means a lot of games with many prices to be won. Bingo, balloon pinching, ball throwing etc. are great games also in this technological era.

After all prices were won the parents displayed series of Jai Ray dances and the kids demonstrated their skills on the mandolins for the first time in front of their delighted parents.

Also 50 kids of the Cao Mai orphanage in Pleiku were invited and enjoyed their stay at the plantation. For the occasion of Tet Live and Give donated 50 uniforms to these kids.

The cheerful day ended with a meal. The nuns of Saint Paul de Chartres have done a great job by organizing this fantastic event, which we were happy to finance.
