Realizing a dream

In a poor country like Vietnam human suffering is alleviated by thousands of nuns whose dream it is to help poor people. Many nuns come from poor families their selves and know too well what it is to be hungry or to make ends meet. The nuns from Saint Paul de Chartres have come a long way before getting in a position to help other people.

Before the novices, or student-nuns are allowed to start the curriculum of Saint Paul’s, they have to get a degree at a university or to get some form of higher education, preferably in a medical or pedagogical field.

Live and Give supports since 2009 the studies of a number of young women. At the moment we help 6: 4 of them are studying for school teacher, 1 for sociology and 1 for pharmaceutical assistant. One day they will be in the position to give back and help to build up their country. We thank the sponsors who are allowing us to help these young students.
