Kindergarten for minority kids

We have built a new kindergarten in Pleiku near our existing boarding school Thien An. It is meant for young minority kids from 3 to 6 years old . The kids will be tought the Vietnamese alfabet, the first Vietnamese words and the most essential social skills like going to the toilet, speak with two words, learn how to share etc etc.

Also kids from poor Vietnamese families are welcome. The school will have a capacity for about 100 kids and will be run by the nuns from Saint Paul the Chartes. Unlike the existing boarding school Thien An the kids will only stay at the kindergarten during day time
The location of the new kindergarten is just outside Pleiku near the highway to Qui Nonh. This is a place where thousands of minorities live in poverty. Since they do not speak the Vietnamese language, they face huge difficulties in attending schools, finding decent jobs, let alone buying property in the country they have been living for centuries. The nuns are doing a great job by helping these people. They are building a bridge between the Jai Rai minority and the Vietnamese society. Since the fight against poverty starts with education we help the nuns as much as we can.
